Each day we bring you one stunning little glimpse of history in the form of a historical photograph. Enjoy!
About this site:
I have been an avid collector of old photographs and documents for over 30 years. The photographs on this site are derived from material I have collected over the years. Some came from old family albums, some from material I bought at flea markets over the years, and some from government archives of public domain images, including the US Library of Congress, and the National Archives. We appreciate you visiting this blog, and hope you find it interesting.

I guess the tickets are cheaper in that section.
ReplyDeleteCheaper? They've have to PAY me to get up in that thing! I've always hated flying - it's like childbirth; I may have gotten used to it, but I never enjoyed it.
ReplyDeleteLooks like the twins are a boy and a girl even though they're dressed the same. Look at their shoes, the boy's are a hightop boot.
ReplyDeleteThat open chain and gear assembly looks a little dangerous. Then again I suppose if your going to fly this thing the least of your worries is losing a finger caught in the gear.
ReplyDeleteAny update on Elizabeth?
ReplyDeleteThose two kids are sitting in the pilot's seat. How tall do you have to be to go on this ride?

The clarity of that picture is amazing! I wonder what kind of camera was used.
