Bootblack in Boston

This picture was taken in 1909, and shows a Bootblack on the street in Boston. All the men are wearing the same style hat.

  3. Is your MAJOR domestic news that you and Mrs. PJM are going to have a baby? That would be pretty MAJOR don't you think.

    If it's a boy I think you should name him "Nate". If it's a girl, "Heather" is a very nice name. :-D

  8. I think that if it was the tractor, then there would be no delaying the announcement. I hope you get it soon though PJM as the fingers that I have crossed for you are getting mighty sore.
    Heather I think that naming a child/chicken after PJM's Mystery Person contest nemesis would not happen. I think Lindon is a much better name.

  10. Funny suggestion about being a democrat. I've been a registered republican all my life. Since I agreed with my parents on most things, including political issues, I always assumed they were Republican. (Especially since they despised the Clintons.) I became a poll worker and happened to see the voter rolls and was surprised to find they were registered democrats.
