Each day we bring you one stunning little glimpse of history in the form of a historical photograph. Enjoy!

About this site:
I have been an avid collector of old photographs and documents for over 30 years. The photographs on this site are derived from material I have collected over the years. Some came from old family albums, some from material I bought at flea markets over the years, and some from government archives of public domain images, including the US Library of Congress, and the National Archives. We appreciate you visiting this blog, and hope you find it interesting.

I'll guess Theodore Roosevelt, Jr. and his wife Eleanor.
ReplyDeleteTheodore Roosevelt, Jr., and his wife Eleanor Butler Alexander Roosevelt.
ReplyDeleteGood morning Nate and Marie. Your entries are not correct.

Okay, how about Theodore Roosevelt, Jr. and Alice Roosevelt Longworth?
ReplyDeleteOuch, that was over fast.
ReplyDeleteNate is the winner.
Give me five minutes and we will have round 2.
Somebody said a funny.
ReplyDeleteWhat a darling, natural, spontaneous snapshot of what was obviously set up to be a composed pic. Miss Alice is trying so hard to contain herself...to the point of clenching her fists. And T, Jr. has lost it. You can just feel the sibling love.
This is, by far, my all-time favorite OPOD!
